Zulekha Hospital

Zulekha Hospital in Dubai was founded in 2004 by Dr. Zulekha Daud, as part of the Zulekha Healthcare Group, which was established in 1964. The group has an additional hospital Zulekha Hospital Sharjah, in addition to 3 medical centers in the UAE.

As a multidisciplinary hospital, Zulekha Hospital has a range of departments, which include cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, neurology, dentistry, dermatology, general surgery, reproductive medicine, urology, bariatric surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and an ear, nose and throat (ENT) department.

The hospital group regularly attends interactive medical workshops and seminars in the GCC region and has 79 patient beds, 24-hour emergency services, a child-care center, and a pharmacy on site.

Zulekha Hospital offers a range of bariatric surgery options, and is designated as a Centre of Excellence for for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery by the European Accreditation Council for Bariatric Surgery (EAC-BS). Procedures performed at the hospital include gastric bypass surgery, gastric sleeve surgery, gastric band surgery, and the minimally-invasive weight loss device, the gastric balloon.
