Saudi German Hospital Dubai was established in 2012 as part of the Saudi German Hospital Group, the largest private hospital group in the Middle East. The group has additional branches located in Jeddah, Madinah, Riyadh, Aseer, and Sanna.

Saudi German Hospital Dubai is a multidisciplinary hospital which is accredited by the US Joint Commission International (JCI), as well as having certifications from Temos and the Medical Tourism Certification from MTQUA. The hospital has over 25 medical departments including orthopedics, oncology, gynecology, neurology, spinal surgery, cardiology, and bariatric surgery, amongst others. The hospital has it's own on-site nuclear medicine laboratory, which is accredited by CAP (the College of American Pathologists).

There are 8 operating theaters, 37 ICU beds, 315 patient beds, 2 catheterization laboratories, and a dialysis unit at Saudi German Hospital Dubai.
